Accountant
Kate became a valued member of Valcor in March 2021 and brings 4 years of experience in accounting, as well as over 12 years of proficiency in property management. Serving as an Accountant at Valcor, Kate actively contributes to a collaborative team that handles the complete accounting cycle, prepares monthly financial reports, creates budgets and forecasts, conducts annual expense reconciliations, and cultivates lasting client relationships.
Preceding her tenure at Valcor, Kate held integral positions withing both accounting and onsite property management divisions at CWS Capital Partners. Currently, Kate is dedicated to pursuing her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Grand Canyon University and her Professional Bookkeeper (PB) designation/certification through Universal Accounting Center.
In her free time, Kate enjoys spending time in her hometown of Boerne. Family comes first for her, and she actively participates in her children’s extracurricular activities, which include baseball and horseback riding. Kate’s commitment to community shines through her efforts in organizing local Operation: Christmas Child shoe box drives for the past five years and strives to reach a new goal each year. She has also played vital roles as a member of the Board of Directors, serving as the Treasurer for a local non-profit organization and as the Board President for her neighborhood HOA, where she currently holds the position of Treasurer.
Kate and her husband Dave have been happily married for 14 years and together they are blessed with 2 wonderful children: Tyler and Tory Kate.
